In an attempt to ensure that your visit
to the Vodacom World of Golf is both pleasant and enjoyable,
it has become necessary to implement various rules when utilising
the facility.
Membership Card
No member will gain access to the club without his/her
membership card.
Access will be denied if the member is in arrears.
Membership will be suspended if no payment is received
for 60 days.
The company holds the right to revoke the membership
if settlement is not received within 90 days.
The card is not transferable.
Lost cards must be reported immediately. A new card
will be issued and charged to the member at R50.00 per card
I.D. must be produced when collecting membership cards.
Prices are exclusive of membership card fees.
Children
Unfortunately certain areas are out of bounds to children
under the age of 12 years and unaccompanied by an adult.
Safety of the children at ‘ The Vodacom World
of Golf’ should always be considered when entering
the facility.
Children between the ages of 3 and 10 will be provided
for in the ‘Little Tiger’ play zone, only
whilst parents are using the facility. Please take note
of the operating hours in this facility.
An adult must accompany minors at all times except whilst
in the Little Tiger Zone and Junior Clinics.
Non Playing Guests
Guests must sign the Indemnity form at reception on entering the facility.
Guests entry may be limited.
Day members
Daily visitors will be offered membership at the applicable daily rate and will be able to use all the facilities free (except for Professional tuition, grass tees and Gary Player Fitness Center).
Unfortunately the Vodacom World of Golf does not supply
towels and therefore the members are requested to bring
their own.
Lost Property
Lost property will be cleared and the contents given
to charity on a weekly basis. The company does not accept
responsibility for members’ property left and/or
stored on the premises.
Safety
The staff request that all members using the facility
be careful and let common sense prevail.
Never take any situation for granted, be conscious of
those around you and act responsibly at all times.
Parents/adults please assist any children who may be
unaware of any possible dangers.
No firearms are permitted into the facility.
Peak Periods
We are nowhere near maximum capacity and
as a rule utilization is not a problem, however, in the unlikely
event that the target tees are full on the odd occasion ,
we request that you adhere to the peak time utilization rule
which says:
A maximum of forty (40) minutes will be permitted at
the hitting bay during peak period’s 16h00 –
19h00 in winter and 16h00 – 20h00 in summer.
Please note that bays may not be reserved by placing
golf clubs on mats.
The Short Game Areas (World of Putting,
Bunkers & Chipping)
These areas are designed to practise short chip/bunker
shots and not to play longer pitch shots.
Be careful not to hit in the direction of other players
whilst using these areas.
The Wedge and Putt Course
In order for everyone to enjoy the round and ensure play is continually flowing, we request each player only play a maximum of 6 shots per hole and then proceed to the following hole.
A maximum of 4 people may play together at any one time.
Check the scorecard for additional local rules.
We encourage all members and guests to repair pitch marks correctly
The Pro Shop X-ACT Fit Centre and Tech Lab
All equipment in the Centre is the property of
‘The Pro Shop’.
For security purposes, no equipment may be removed from
this facility.
Club rack holders may not be taken into this area.
Golf Balls
The golf balls provided remain the property of ‘The
Vodacom World of Golf’; theft of the golf balls
is a criminal offence.
Membership will automatically be revoked if offending
members are found guilty of this offence.
Golf Bags/ Clubs Storage
No golf bags are permitted on the practise facilities.
Golf bags may be stored in Club Storage whilst you are
practicing.
A club rack will be provided in the Car Park.
Golf clubs may be left at the club drop off area; this
may only be done whilst the member is present at the facility
and at the owner’s risk.
Golf clubs may not be left overnight.
An entry form must be signed when leaving Clubs at Club Storage.
Lockers
Lockable lockers are provided for in the change rooms.
Members are requested to provide their own locks.
Lockers are only for use whilst the members are utilizing
the facilities.
Lockers must not be locked overnight, this is a security
hazard.
Any locker left locked overnight will have the contents
removed; collection of goods is available for a maximum
of 14 days thereafter.
The company will not be responsible for any loss, theft
and/ or items stored on the premises.
Conference Facilities
Our conference facilities may be hired should the rooms be available.

Expulsion
Any member who wilfully or negligently causes damages
to the Club or The Company will be financially responsible
for the cost of the damages.
Soft Spikes
The Vodacom World of Golf is a soft spike zone. Only
this type of spike will be permitted on the playing areas.
General
Prices are subject to change.
The company has the right to amend the Rules and Regulations
for the use of the facility as it may seem fit.
Members are obligated to adhere to the Rules and Regulations
at all times.
